Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 December 2025
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services (the "App"). The App is operated by Activities in Mournes Shuttle Services (AIMSS) ("AIMSS", "we", "us" or "our"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
1. About us
The App is provided by Activities in Mournes Shuttle Services (AIMSS). When we refer to "you" or "your" in these Terms, we mean any person using the App as a consumer to browse services, purchase tickets or access any other features made available by us.
2. What the App does
The main purpose of the App is to allow you to:
- Browse and purchase bus tickets or other transport-related products; and
- View information about services, which may include real-time or near real-time bus location information and related journey details.
The App is a digital tool to help you plan and manage your journeys. While we aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information, service times, routes and availability may change, and we cannot guarantee that all information shown in the App will always be accurate or complete.
3. Using the App
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal capacity in your country of residence if higher, to use the App or make purchases through it. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You agree to use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
4. Accounts and security
Some features of the App may require you to create an account and provide certain information, such as your name and email address. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account; and
- Keep your login details secure and not share them with anyone else.
You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you should notify us as soon as reasonably possible and change your password.
5. Tickets and payments
The App may allow you to purchase tickets or other services. When you make a purchase through the App:
- You authorise us and our third-party payment provider (for example, Stripe) to process the payment using the payment method you select; and
- You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Prices, fees and any applicable taxes will be shown to you before you confirm your purchase. It is your responsibility to check this information carefully.
The specific terms that apply to your ticket (such as validity period, refundability, changes and transferability) will either be shown in the App at the time of purchase or made available to you separately. Those ticket terms form part of these Terms and you agree to comply with them.
6. Location-based features
Some features of the App may rely on access to your device's location, for example to:
- Show your position relative to nearby services; and
- Display real-time or near real-time bus location information on a map.
You can choose whether to allow the App to access your location via your device settings. If you do not grant location permissions, some features of the App may not function or may be limited, but you may still be able to use other parts of the App (such as browsing information).
For more detail on how we process location data and other personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the App in any way that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful;
- Harms or attempts to harm minors in any way;
- Involves copying, modifying, distributing or reverse engineering the App except as permitted by law;
- Interferes with or disrupts the operation of the App or its underlying systems; or
- Attempts to gain unauthorised access to the App, other accounts, or any related systems or networks.
8. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the App available and functioning, but we do not guarantee that the App, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or change all or any part of the App at any time for operational, security, legal or business reasons.
We may also update the App and these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, through the App or by email). Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the App and its content (including text, graphics, logos, icons and software) are owned by or licensed to AIMSS. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display or exploit any part of the App or its content without our prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by law.
10. Third-party services and links
The App may display content from, or link to, third-party websites, services or resources, including payment providers and mapping services. We do not control, endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content or services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies, which you should read carefully.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not make any promises or guarantees:
- That the App will always be available, secure or free from errors; or
- That information shown in the App (including service times and live location data) will always be accurate, complete or up to date.
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for:
- Any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App;
- Any loss or damage caused by inaccurate or incomplete information displayed in the App; or
- Any indirect, consequential or purely economic loss.
12. Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your device, internet connection and security settings are suitable for using the App. You are also responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the App and when travelling on any services for which you have purchased tickets.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, misused the App or used it in a way that could damage, disable or impair the App or interfere with another person's use of it.
You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device does not affect any rights or obligations that have already arisen (for example, relating to tickets you have purchased).
14. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully to understand how we collect, use and protect your information.
15. Contact us
If you have any questions or complaints about the App or these Terms, you can contact us using the details provided in the App or in our Privacy Policy.
By using the App, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them.
